The shortest of the big-city airport runs, at a price you know before the wheels touch down.
Central Tel Aviv is about 23 km from Ben Gurion Airport, on Road 1 and then the Ayalon Highway (Road 20), which runs right through the city. Our taxi has a fixed price set before you land, and the driver follows your flight, so a delay simply moves the pickup. We drop you at the door anywhere in town: the beachfront hotels, Neve Tzedek, Florentin, Jaffa or Ramat Aviv.

Where in Tel Aviv we drop you
The driver takes you to the building entrance or the hotel door. These are the addresses we hear most from arriving visitors:
- Beachfront hotels
The hotel row on HaYarkon Street and Herbert Samuel Street, along the promenade from the Old Port down towards Jaffa.
- Rothschild Boulevard and the White City
The Bauhaus streets around Rothschild, Dizengoff and Sheinkin, listed by UNESCO as the White City. Many boutique hotels and short-stay flats are here.
- Neve Tzedek and Florentin
The old southern quarters. Streets are narrow and often one-way, so give the house number and which entrance to use.
- Jaffa
Old Jaffa, the clock tower, the flea market and Ajami. Some lanes in the old city are for pedestrians only, and the driver stops at the nearest street a car can reach.
- Sarona and the Azrieli towers
Business hotels and offices next to the Ayalon, handy if you are flying in for meetings.
- The Old North and the Port
Quiet residential streets between Ben Gurion Boulevard and HaYarkon Park, and the Namal (Old Port) on the seafront.
- Ramat Aviv
Tel Aviv University, the ANU Museum of the Jewish People and the residential north of the city.
The road into the city
Road 1 runs west from the airport and joins the Ayalon Highway, which follows the Ayalon River through the middle of Tel Aviv, between the city and Ramat Gan. Which exit the driver takes depends on your address: southern exits for Jaffa and Florentin, central ones for Rothschild, Sarona and the hotel strip, northern ones for Ramat Aviv.
Tel Aviv streets around the beach and the White City are busy and many are one-way. A hotel name or an exact address with the building entrance saves a lap around the block.
Landing and meeting your driver
After border control, baggage claim and the customs lanes, send the driver a WhatsApp message or answer the call. You agree on the meeting point together, so keep your phone on with data or roaming. Questions and answers
Can you drop me at a hotel on the seafront?
Yes, at the hotel entrance. Give the hotel name when you book so the driver approaches from the right side of the street.
Do you go to Jaffa too?
Yes, Jaffa is part of the city. In the old part of Jaffa some lanes are closed to cars, so the driver stops at the closest point a car can reach.
Is the train into Tel Aviv an option?
The train runs from the station inside Terminal 3 to Tel Aviv’s main stations, but not on Shabbat, and you still have to get from the station to your address with your bags. A taxi takes you straight to the door.
Can you take us to Tel Aviv now and to Jerusalem later in our trip?
