Haifa is about 110 km north of Ben Gurion Airport, the longest of our main city runs from the airport. The route takes Road 40 and then Road 6 or the coastal Road 2, and may finish through the Carmel Tunnels. We drop you anywhere in the city, from the hotels on the Carmel ridge to the German Colony below the Bahá’í Gardens, at a fixed price set before you land. The driver follows your flight.

Which way north
The driver leaves the airport on Road 40 and continues north either on Road 6, the cross-Israel toll highway, or on Road 2 along the coast. At Haifa the route depends on your address. The Carmel Tunnels (Road 23) run under the mountain from the Haifa South interchange near the MATAM park to the Check Post area towards the Krayot, with a middle exit in Neve Sha’anan. They skip downtown traffic and the climb over the Carmel.
Road 6 and the Carmel Tunnels both charge tolls. On a metered ride, the official taxi price order adds a fixed supplement when the ride uses them at the passenger’s request. When we give you a fixed price, we tell you whether it includes the toll, and you can ask for a route that avoids toll roads.
Haifa drop-offs visitors ask for
- The German Colony
Ben Gurion Boulevard, with its restored Templer houses, restaurants and boutique hotels. At its top end is the lower entrance to the Bahá’í Gardens.
- The Bahá’í Gardens and the Shrine of the Báb
The terraces climb Mount Carmel above the German Colony. Tell us whether you need the lower entrance or the upper one on the ridge.
- Carmel Center and the Louis Promenade
Hotels such as the Dan Carmel on HaNassi Avenue, with the bay below.
- Downtown and Haifa Port
The port area and the cruise terminal, the Wadi Nisnas neighbourhood and the streets below Hadar.
- The Technion and the University of Haifa
The Technion campus in Neve Sha’anan and the university at the top of the Carmel.
- Bat Galim and Rambam Hospital
The seafront quarter at the foot of Stella Maris, next to Rambam Health Care Campus.
- The Krayot
Kiryat Motzkin, Kiryat Bialik, Kiryat Yam and Kiryat Ata, north of the bay.

With 110 km ahead, space matters. Tell us how many large suitcases and trolley bags you have, and we send an estate or a large taxi if the luggage needs it. Child seats for every age travel with the car; write the ages when you book, as explained on the child seat page.
Want to drop someone off on the way, say in Hadera or Zikhron Ya’akov? Add the stop in the booking. A stop changes the price, so it is worth including from the start.

Questions and answers
Does the ride go through the Carmel Tunnels?
Only when your address makes them worthwhile, typically downtown, the port area, Neve Sha’anan or the Krayot. For the German Colony or the Carmel Center the driver may take the city streets instead.
Is the Road 6 toll part of the price?
When we give you the fixed price, we tell you whether it includes the toll, and you can ask for a route that avoids toll roads. On a metered ride, a fixed supplement is added when the ride uses Road 6 at the passenger’s request.
Can you drop us at the cruise terminal in Haifa Port?
Yes. Send the ship’s name and boarding time with the booking, and we plan the drop-off with you.
Can we stop on the way north?
Yes. Add the stop in the booking form or in your WhatsApp message. It changes the price, so include it from the start.
Do you also drive from Haifa back to Ben Gurion?
