From the arrivals hall to your street in Modi’in, and back to the terminal for the next flight.
A taxi from Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) to Modi’in covers about 21 km: east on Road 1 to the Ben Shemen interchange, then Road 443 to the city, with no toll road on the usual route. Bazman Taxi drives to and from any address in Modi’in-Maccabim-Re’ut, from Buchman in the south to Tsipor in the north, at a fixed price set before the ride in each direction. Neighbourhoods and pickup points in Modi’in
Many neighbourhoods here have two names in everyday use. Either one is fine in the booking, as long as the street and house number are there too.
- Buchman, in the south
HaShvatim (North Buchman) and Moriah (South Buchman), at the southern end of the city.
- Tsipor and Kaizer
HaKramim (Tsipor), the northernmost neighbourhood, and Avnei Chen (Kaizer) on the west side, where some streets are still being built.
- Shimshoni, in the north-west
HaNevi’im and HaMeginim, known as Northern and Southern Shimshoni.
- Safdie, Givat C and Miromi
HaNechalim (Safdie) and Masuah (Givat C), both planned by the architect Moshe Safdie, and the small HaPrachim (Miromi) in the city centre.
- Maccabim and Re’ut
The two older communities, joined with Modi’in into one city in 2003. Book them as Modi’in and write Maccabim or Re’ut with the street.
- The city centre and the stations
The big traffic circle, with the underground Modi’in Center station on its north side and Azrieli Modi’in Mall to the north-east. Paatei Modi’in station is on the western outskirts.
Road 1 east, then Road 443 into the city
From the terminal the driver takes Road 1 east, towards Jerusalem. At the Ben Shemen interchange, where Roads 1, 6, 443 and 444 meet, the route leaves Road 1 for Road 443 and carries on past the Ben Shemen Forest to Modi’in, about 21 km in all. Road 6 meets the route only at that interchange; the usual ride stays on Roads 1 and 443, so there is no toll road on the way.
Heading east on Road 443, you pass the Modi’in junctions in this order: West Modi’in Junction at Yehuda HaMaccabi Street, Shilat Junction, East Modi’in Junction at HaHashmonaim Avenue, and the Maccabim-Re’ut junction on Derech Yair Parag. The driver leaves the road at the one closest to your street.
Landing at Ben Gurion, home to Modi’in
- Book with the flight number
Give the flight number and scheduled landing time, your street address in Modi’in, and how many passengers, large suitcases and trolley bags are coming.
- The flight is tracked
The driver follows your flight and plans the pickup around the time it actually lands.
- After baggage reclaim
The driver phones you or writes on WhatsApp, and you agree together where to meet. The arrivals guide shows the way from the aircraft to the exit.
- To your door
Road 1 east, Road 443, the junction nearest your neighbourhood, then your street.
From Modi’in to your flight
For the ride to the airport, send the flight number and departure time when you book. The driver collects you at your door and drops you at your terminal. The Israel Airports Authority asks passengers to arrive three hours before departure, and we agree the pickup time with you around that advice.
International departures use Terminal 3 or, since July 2026, Terminal 1, and some airlines fly from both. Check the terminal for your flight number and write it in the booking. Our Terminal 3 departures guide covers the way from the drop-off to the gate, and the Terminal 1 guide covers the smaller terminal.
Family or friends flying in to visit
You can book the airport ride for guests landing from abroad without coming along yourself. Give their names, the flight number and a number they can be reached on after landing, by call or WhatsApp. The driver contacts them once they have their bags and brings them to your address in Modi’in.
To have them met in the arrivals hall with their name on a sign, book our VIP meet and greet, which comes with a luxury car or a limousine by arrangement.
Car seats, luggage and a wheelchair lift
- Child seats for every age
Infant carriers, child seats and boosters are brought with the car. Give each child’s age in the booking; more on our taxi with a child seat page.
- Suitcases, strollers and travel cots
List the large suitcases and trolley bags, plus any stroller or travel cot. If it will not fit in a regular taxi, we send a large taxi or a minibus.
- Travelling in a wheelchair
Our vehicle with a lift takes the passenger on board in the chair. It goes out by advance arrangement, so book the wheelchair accessible taxi a day ahead if you can.
Fixed price for the ride
The fixed price depends on the address, the direction, the time and the vehicle, and we send it to you on WhatsApp before the ride. Traffic on the way does not change it. For an estimate on the official tariff, use the meter calculator; the rules are in our pricing policy.

Questions and answers
How much is a taxi from Ben Gurion Airport to Modi’in?
The price is fixed before the ride and depends on the time, the vehicle and the direction, since each way has its own price. Send the trip on WhatsApp and we reply with it. The usual route on Roads 1 and 443 has no toll, and the meter calculator on this page shows the official tariff for the 21 km.
Should I write Buchman or HaShvatim in the booking?
Either name works. The street and house number are what bring the driver to your door.
We live in Maccabim. Do we book Modi’in?
Yes. Maccabim and Re’ut have been part of Modi’in-Maccabim-Re’ut since 2003, so choose Modi’in as the destination and write Maccabim or Re’ut next to the street.
Is Modi’in Illit the same place?
No. Modi’in Illit is a separate city about 6 km north-east of Modi’in-Maccabim-Re’ut. We drive there as well; choose Modi’in Illit as the destination when you book.
Road 6 passes the Ben Shemen interchange. Does the ride use it?
Not on the usual route. From the interchange the ride continues on Road 443, and neither Road 1 nor Road 443 is a toll road.
Our flight leaves on a Friday. How late can the taxi collect us in Modi’in?
That depends on two times: the airport’s advice to arrive three hours before departure, and the start of Shabbat that week, since the ride has to reach the airport before it. The Shabbat times for Modi’in are on this page; send your flight time and we set the pickup with you.
