Taxi from Ben Gurion Airport to Ra'anana
Updated
From the airport to your door in Ra'anana, booked in English before you fly.
A taxi from Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) to Ra'anana, also spelled Raanana, covers about 28 km. The route runs north on Road 40 through Petah Tikva, then along Road 402 through Hod HaSharon to the Ra'anana Junction, where Ahuza Street begins. Bazman Taxi drives you to the door at a fixed price set before you land, and the driver follows your flight. You can book in English by phone, on WhatsApp or with the online form, and we drive you back for your flight home too.

Where in Ra'anana we drop you
Any street address in the city works. These are the areas and landmarks worth naming in the booking:
- Ahuza Street and the centre
The street the town was built along in the 1920s, and still its main road, running west from the Ra'anana Junction towards Herzliya.
- The neighbourhoods
Neve Zemer, Kiryat Sharet, Kiryat Ben Zvi (Rasco), Kiryat Weizmann, Kiryat David Remez, Lev HaPark, Neot Sadeh and the rest of the city. English spellings of street names vary, so add the neighbourhood to the address.
- Kiryat Atgarim
The industrial and high-tech park in the north of the city, with the offices of Israeli and international tech companies and the Renanim mall. Give the company name and the building.
- The Open University of Israel
The Dorothy de Rothschild Campus at 1 University Road, on the east side of the city.
- Ra'anana Park
The largest urban park in the Sharon, with its lake and amphitheatre, on the western edge of the city.
- The railway stations
Ra'anana West, beside the Herzliya East interchange, and Ra'anana South. Either can be the pickup point for the ride back to the airport.
After you land, the driver calls or messages you
Book with your flight number. The driver follows the flight, so an early or a late landing moves the pickup with it. After passport control, baggage claim and customs, the driver calls you or sends a WhatsApp message and you agree on the meeting point together. Keep your phone on, with roaming or a local SIM. The Terminal 3 arrival guide walks through each stage inside the terminal.
If you are booking for parents or friends flying in to visit you in Ra'anana, add their own phone number in the note for the driver, so they can be reached after landing. If you would like them greeted inside the arrivals hall with their name on a sign, that is our VIP service, with a luxury car or a limousine by arrangement.
Road 40, Road 402 and the Ra'anana Junction
A short airport road brings you out to Road 40, and the driver follows it north through Petah Tikva. At the Adanim Junction, on the edge of Hod HaSharon, the route turns onto Road 402, called Derech Ramatayim in Hod HaSharon and Ein Hai Street where it passes Kfar Malal. Road 402 ends at the Ra'anana Junction on Road 4, between Ra'anana and Kfar Saba, and this is where Ahuza Street begins. From the city centre to the airport it is about 28 km.
The route stays east of Tel Aviv and does not use the Ayalon Highway or any toll road.
Moving to Ra'anana, or staying for months
An aliyah flight or a long stay usually lands with more luggage than a holiday. Tell us what is coming, and the vehicle is picked to fit it.
- Passengers and bags
Write how many passengers, large suitcases and trolley bags are travelling. Dispatch goes over it with you by phone and sends anything from a station wagon to a large taxi or a minibus.
- Strollers, cots and boxes
List a stroller, a travel cot, a bike box or anything else oversized, so it is counted with the luggage.
- Children
We bring child seats for every age. Write how many children are travelling and how old each one is; the taxi with a child seat page has the details.
From Ra'anana back to the airport
For the flight home we collect you at your door and drop you at the departures level of your terminal, at a fixed price in this direction too. The Israel Airports Authority asks passengers to arrive three hours before departure, and we set the pickup time with you from there.
The Ra'anana Junction is a frequent traffic bottleneck, and on weekday mornings Road 402 is busy with commuters from Ra'anana and Hod HaSharon. For a morning flight we leave room for that in the pickup time. Check your terminal by flight number before you set off; the Terminal 3 departures guide covers the way from the curb to the gate.
Fixed price for the ride
The fixed price depends on the address, the direction, the time and the vehicle, and we send it to you on WhatsApp before the ride. Traffic on the way does not change it. For an estimate on the official tariff, use the meter calculator; the rules are in our pricing policy.

Questions and answers
How much is a taxi from Ben Gurion Airport to Ra'anana?
You get a fixed price for your street, the landing time and the vehicle, sent on WhatsApp in English before you fly. The route on Road 40 and Road 402 uses no toll road, so nothing is added for tolls. To compare with the official meter, the calculator on this page is already set from the airport to Ra'anana.
How far is Ra'anana from Ben Gurion Airport?
About 28 km by road from the city centre, on Road 40 and Road 402. For comparison, the airport taxi to Herzliya covers about 33 km and the taxi to Netanya about 49 km, both by way of Tel Aviv.
Can you collect me from an office in Kiryat Atgarim for an evening flight?
Yes. Write the company, the building and the time you plan to leave work, and the driver comes to the building entrance.
We fly out of Ra'anana on a weekday morning. Should we leave earlier?
Yes. Tell us your departure time and we agree a pickup that covers the airport's three-hour advice and the weekday rush at the Ra'anana Junction.
Do you also drive to Kfar Saba, Hod HaSharon and the moshavim around Ra'anana?
Yes. The booking form covers more than 1,240 localities in Israel, including Kfar Saba, Hod HaSharon, Kfar Malal and Ramot HaShavim, so any address near Ra'anana books the same way.
Can we drop a relative in Hod HaSharon on the way from the airport?
Yes. Choose the stop option in the second step of the booking form and enter the address. A stop changes the price, so we include it in the fixed price we give you.
